With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Pernambucano in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Correia saved Internacional from getting behind. A collision led to Fúria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Cerezo hit a great ball. When Eriberto de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Internacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto de Castro couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ruy Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abel Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Durval Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristian Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruy Correia was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Ruy Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Pernambucano in the 73rd minute of the match. Clemente Quintal took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Corrêa. Vladimir Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ruy Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Pernambucano in the 85th minute. Fabinho Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Internacional's Clemente Quintal made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there!
