Vladimir Corrêa came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Mukifus FSCMZ's Váldson Britto. But to his dismay, Váldson Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fúria Futebol Clube's Sílvio Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Britto in the 27th minute of play forced Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Vladimir Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Marcos Saraiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee ignored Mukifus FSCMZ's protests and gave Juvenal Neves a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mukifus FSCMZ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Juvenal Neves hit a great ball. When Durval Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Fúria Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durval Rossi couldn't finish the play.
