The crowd rose to their feet as Diamante Negro DK - VV's Renatinho Freitas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dedê Negri. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Gilvan Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dedê Negri having to make a save. Gilvan Silva came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dedê Negri could save by the left post. The score was now 2-0. 26 minutes into the game, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Renatinho Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedê Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Diamante Negro DK - VV's attentive Oscar Ortiz managed to snatch the ball when Sebastião Mattos made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Oscar Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Edinho Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Nordestão Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Dedê Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilvan Silva.
