After 10 played minutes, Pura Arte F.C's Luiz Gaúcho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eurico Diniz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pura Arte F.C reached it. Eurico Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Luís Arce in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Davi Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Davi Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Eurico Diniz made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Caio Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Eurico Diniz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Caio Barros in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Aguinhas's Eurico Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Arce in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Aguinhas getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gilmar Pereira hit a great ball. After 38 minutes, Augusto Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguinhas and the Pura Arte F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Aguinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Guedes to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Caio Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celsinho Tróia to make the kick off. A collision led to Aguinhas getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Michel Gonçalves hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the game, Pura Arte F.C's Davi Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eurico Diniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Augusto Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguinhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nestor Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Sandrinho da Silveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Zonta. Sandrinho da Silveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Aguinhas's Michel Gonçalves got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Davi Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Celsinho Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Pedro Zonta made a huge save. Pedro Zonta didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Aguinhas's Augusto Guedes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Luiz Gaúcho's late challenge caught a Aguinhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
