The referee showed Celsinho Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celsinho Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Dário Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silas Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Squall FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Silas Valadares hit a great ball. Dráusio Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Tomás Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Mazza in the 18th minute of the match. Dário Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Diogo de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dário Viana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Squall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Miranda came free, but Dário Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dário Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Dário Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo de Souza in the 36th minute of play. Squall FC's Dário Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Vieira in the 41st minute of play. Tião Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fausto Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Grêmio Bulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Miranda couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogo de Souza was the one to do the kick off. Dário Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo de Souza in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Brodel to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Fausto Miranda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dário Viana, 0-3. Romeu Félix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dário Viana came out and tried to block the shot, but Romeu Félix slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Squall FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Celsinho Mazza hit a great ball. Tomás Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo do Valle in the 69th minute of play. Dário Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Vieira in the 71st minute of the match. Dário Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Túlio Melo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Tomás Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squall FC. Tomás Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Varela in the 80th minute of play. Tomás Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Valadares was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Grêmio Bulls booed when Squall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grêmio Bulls's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 90th minute of the game, when Nico Amaral after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Squall FC's goal. Nico Amaral was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Squall FC's Dário Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Squall FC from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Vieira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Dário Viana made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Grêmio Bulls left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Squall FC.
