Eurico Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Braga in the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Celsinho Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguinhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Osvaldinho Massa made a precise shot to the right of Eurico Diniz. Aguinhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Celsinho Tróia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renato Pirani was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celsinho Tróia to make the kick off. After 57 minutes, Gernando Braga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabajara Londrina LBFC and the Aguinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card.
