Benê Simão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Acácio Campidelis pulled a muscle in his leg after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gernando Bittencourt's late challenge caught a Arsenal de Gols F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Vila Industrial FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benê Simão should have stopped the shot. After the first half Arsenal de Gols F.C were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Róbson Vasconcelos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Simão having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Vila Industrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Benê Simão made a huge save. Vila Industrial FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Róbson Vasconcelos scored to the left of an out of position Benê Simão, making the score, 0-6. In the 97th minute, Róbson Vasconcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benê Simão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Arsenal de Gols F.C played a much better game than Vila Industrial FC and deserved their victory. The Vila Industrial FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
