The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When João Vítor Dionísio fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gurdurão's protests and gave João Vítor Dionísio a yellow card for diving instead. Cássio Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Chicão Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Cabral to maneuver through the defense. If Valdomiro Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Encanto's Eliseu Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Encanto from getting a goal against them. Renan Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eliseu Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cauan Berger fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encanto's protests and gave Cauan Berger a yellow card for diving instead. Gurdurão's Bruninho Novaes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eliseu Tasso but with some difficulty. João Vítor Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Eliseu Tasso made a huge save. Eliseu Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willian Siqueira in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Mazinho Tróia got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico Palmeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Willian Siqueira succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Eliseu Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Encanto's zone, João Vítor Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Tasso came out of the goal and João Vítor Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the game, Willian Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eliseu Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70thth minute of the game Willian Siqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Encanto's Eliseu Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseu Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute Willian Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Vladimir Rossi in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Encanto's Edson Bertassi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willian Siqueira in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Tasso saved Encanto from getting behind. 89 minutes into the game, Willian Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Eliseu Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Encanto booed when Gurdurão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willian Siqueira in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseu Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
