Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manuel Vianna got the match started through his kick off. Pirajiba's Rodriguinho Alvarenga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jerônimo Mendes, made in the 8th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Encanto's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson de Queiroz came free, but Eliseu Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão Valle hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Nico Palmeira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Basílio Cosme. Pirajiba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 30th minute, Pirajiba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manuel Vianna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 31 played minutes Pirajiba got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Prado. Eliseu Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson de Queiroz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Laerte Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

If Nelson de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Caio Vidal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson de Queiroz in the 90th minute of play forced Encanto's goalkeeper Eliseu Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Jairo Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirajiba's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute Nelson de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Pirajiba failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
