In the 3rd match minute, Vila Industrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Tande to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Industrial FC's zone, Erik Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco da Rocha came out of the goal and Erik Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bruno Branco got control of the ball when Rafael Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Erik Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caco da Rocha was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bruno Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Cavalcante in the 17th minute of play. When Blumenau Esporte Clube's Erik Baptista in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the last second Bruno Branco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rafael Cavalcante in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Emerson Proença's late challenge caught a Vila Industrial FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emerson Proença helped the player get up and apologised. 43 minutes into the game, one of Blumenau Esporte Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Vila Industrial FC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tiaguinho Cunha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bruno Branco. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Cavalcante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Luuk de Jong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Viana took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Branco. Bruno Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 62nd match minute, Vila Industrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ravi Lopes to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Osmar da Fonseca. Caco da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Branco didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vila Industrial FC's Rafael Cavalcante shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 87th minute Rafael Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Hélio Tepedino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. There was no doubt that Vila Industrial FC were the better team. Vila Industrial FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
