The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sydney Cearense took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Marinho. Nilton Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Luís Guilherme Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Galvão in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brasil F.C.'s zone, Jairo Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilton Marinho came out of the goal and Jairo Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, Pirajiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Nilton Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 46th match minute, Pirajiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Couto to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nelson de Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Real Brasil F.C.'s Tiago Gabriel Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basílio Cosme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the last second Basílio Cosme throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tiago Gabriel Mendes in the 54thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Pirajiba getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Deivid Bueno hit a great ball. Mateus de Amaral's late challenge caught a Pirajiba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateus de Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. Luís Guilherme Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Basílio Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson de Queiroz in the 68th minute of play forced Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Nilton Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nilton Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Luís Guilherme Galvão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basílio Cosme. Pirajiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Guilherme Galvão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 77 minutes into the match, Pirajiba's Nelson de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilton Marinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Real Brasil F.C. booed when Pirajiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Brasil F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pirajiba to leave the ground with a draw.
