In the 5th minute Christiano Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Karaboudjan getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Aílton Simões hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Christiano Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karaboudjan's Jefferson do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Karaboudjan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Eugênio Tasso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandre Trevisan, 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Alexandre Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado França. Elano Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Rodrigues in the 53rd minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Alexandre Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Prado came free, but Jefferson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when Karaboudjan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Ernani Custódio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson do Vale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 60 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Elano Travassos. A collision led to Karaboudjan getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Nilton Pires hit a great ball. Alexandre Trevisan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugênio Tasso went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Conrado França took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Trevisan. Alexandre Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Conrado França blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Trevisan having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Karaboudjan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
