In the 3rd minute Luiz Eduardo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grêmio FBPA's Osvaldinho Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Gaspar in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grêmio FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dieguinho Alagoano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dieguinho Alagoano made a great header on Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s corner, it was just that Grêmio FBPA's Osvaldinho Marquez managed to reach the ball for a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The shot was a little too simple and Osvaldinho Marquez could save by the left post. 62 minutes in the game Luisão Perez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dieguinho Alagoano. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Eduardo Gaspar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osvaldinho Marquez. That made the score 0-3 in the 63 minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Gaspar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osvaldinho Marquez came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Eduardo Gaspar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Friedrich Engels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldinho Marquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Eduardo Gaspar came free, but Osvaldinho Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dieguinho Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dieguinho Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Tarrasque Voador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Marquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Félix. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tarrasque Voador F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
