After a defensive mix-up in Capibaribe Stars's zone, Jairo Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Toscano came out of the goal and Jairo Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ian Koehler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Víktor de Sena was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Víktor de Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Váldson de Sena. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Acácio Peres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Víktor de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Diguinho Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Hélder Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Capibaribe Stars were the better team. Capibaribe Stars's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
