Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Paulista started the match with the kick off. Nilson Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Oranil's zone, Hamílton Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Velloso came out of the goal and Hamílton Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kléber Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute, Valdo Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th match minute, ✪ XV de Umarizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Edmílson Catarinense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oranil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rafa Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Edmílson Catarinense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Rafa Pitta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Moisés de Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oranil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ✪ XV de Umarizal the free kick. After 38 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Moisés de Sousa. Juan Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Paulista in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Freire to maneuver through the defense. Frank Paulista struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Juan Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ✪ XV de Umarizal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmílson Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Edmílson Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafa Pitta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kiko Teixeira went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, Hílton Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauan Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio das Neves to maneuver through the defense. Juan Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edmílson Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafa Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Catarinense in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Catarinense came free, but Rafa Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Kléber Saldanha put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rafa Pitta. Kauan Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Velloso having to interfere. After some careless play in the ✪ XV de Umarizal defense, Sérgio das Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafa Pitta. The ✪ XV de Umarizal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafa Pitta should have stopped the shot. Oranil's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
