Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) After some careless play in the Limoeiro-PE FC defense, Dalmo Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Carneiro. After having played for 19 minutes, Beto Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindner F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Arósio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilson Souto came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Limoeiro-PE FC's Lino Correia. But to his dismay, Lino Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Wilson Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Cardoso in the 24th minute of play. Ricardo Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute of the match Lindner F.C got a corner. Limoeiro-PE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walmir Dias ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Lindner F.C's Dinei de Medeiros getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Wilson Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cafu Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Lindner F.C's Wilson Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Correia in the 32nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmo Hermes made a kick off. Wilson Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beto Arósio took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Carneiro. Ricardo Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 71st minute, Betinho Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani de Lima in the 73rd minute of play. After 76 minutes, Willian Trevisan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limoeiro-PE FC and the Lindner F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Willian Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Serginho Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Souto made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Lino Correia sent off a good shot on target. Dinei de Medeiros hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
