Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Bittencourt started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Dedê Faria got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Emílio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Gláuber Meirelles got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute Otávio Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AVAÍ F.C.'s Horácio Tasso got control of the ball when Otávio Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otávio Valadares got free with Horácio Tasso in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Espigão Steamrollers's Emílio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Xavier in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Rafa Saraiva got a free kick in the 34th minute. Emílio Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Bittencourt in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Juan Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Romero. Espigão Steamrollers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otávio Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Joaquim Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Hermes in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horácio Tasso saved AVAÍ F.C. from getting behind. Emílio Romero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Bittencourt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. In the 70th minute, Lúcio Eger fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dedê Faria's late challenge caught a AVAÍ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê Faria helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Dedê Faria got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Hermes in the 81st minute of play forced AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Horácio Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juan Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
