Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Víktor Sarmento took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tales Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Sarmento in the 11th minute of the match. Diguinho Mineiro's late challenge caught a Corinthians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diguinho Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. GeRaÇãO-83's Falcão de Almeida was substituted for Víktor Cavalcante. Diguinho Mineiro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Corinthians's Víktor Sarmento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tales Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Diguinho Mineiro made the kick off in the second half. Frederico Gonçalves's late challenge caught a GeRaÇãO-83's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederico Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, one of Corinthians:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corinthians. Almir Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Valladares having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Simão Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corinthians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GeRaÇãO-83 the free kick. After 63 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Simão Travassos. Falcão de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cássio Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tales Valladares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When Falcão de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the GeRaÇãO-83 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falcão de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Corinthians's Cássio Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão de Almeida in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Corinthians players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
