After having played for 8 minutes, Giuseppe Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zebus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eriberto Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Flores da Cunha - RS's Eriberto Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Gomes in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Flores da Cunha - RS's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Godoi came free, but Eriberto Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Godoi in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes in the game, Geraldo Gomes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Giovani Veloso's late challenge caught a Flores da Cunha - RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovani Veloso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Zebus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Gugu Vergílio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Flores da Cunha - RS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 30th match minute, Flores da Cunha - RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the game, Geraldo Gomes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eriberto Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giuseppe Godoi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Eriberto Abraão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Geraldo Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Jerônimo de Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eriberto Abraão. Jerônimo de Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Jerônimo de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Geraldo Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Zebus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geraldo Gomes couldn't finish the play. Zebus FC's Luan Teles shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eriberto Abraão but with some difficulty. Flores da Cunha - RS's Eriberto Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Flores da Cunha - RS from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geraldo Gomes had several of the Flores da Cunha - RS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Eriberto Abraão as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Geraldo Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Jerônimo de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo de Queirós in the 87th minute of play forced Flores da Cunha - RS's goalkeeper Eriberto Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geraldo Almeida made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Flores da Cunha - RS's Aníbal Mendes. Flores da Cunha - RS's Eriberto Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Flores da Cunha - RS from getting a goal against them. Luizão da Rocha hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flores da Cunha - RS's zone, Luan Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Abraão came out of the goal and Luan Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
