Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Teodoro Munhoz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Renato de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tostão da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinaldo Damião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute Raimundo Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulão Veiga in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Damião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Paulão Veiga made a precise shot to the right of Reinaldo Damião. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Carrossel Caipira getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Edu Bertassi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Wágner Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wágner Massa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olívio Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Carrossel Caipira's Renato de Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Damião made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Paulão Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandinho Novaes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Sampaio during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carrossel Caipira were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulão Veiga made a kick off. Tostão da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinaldo Damião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Reinaldo Damião didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tostão da Fonseca went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Olavo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Reinaldo Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Olívio Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Munhoz in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Simão Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizão Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Olívio Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Félix in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Novaes to maneuver through the defense. The Carrossel Caipira players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
