Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Túlio Fernandes started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Cléber Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenato futebol clube and the Corinthians players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fenato futebol clube's Cléber Amaral got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fenato futebol clube's Cléber Amaral got his second yellow card of the match in the 4th minute. The referee ordered Cléber Amaral off the ground. A collision led to Fenato futebol clube getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cléber Amaral hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Corinthians's Mateus Trancoso got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute Víktor Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Almir Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19thth minute of the game Víktor Sarmento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenato futebol clube's Vítor Matorin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Sarmento in the 20th minute of play forced Fenato futebol clube's goalkeeper Vítor Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If José Carlos Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. The Corinthians fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Corinthians's Víktor Sarmento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fenato futebol clube's Vítor Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Sarmento in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benê Lago during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fenato futebol clube's Benê Lago got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 44 minutes, Víktor Sarmento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corinthians and the Fenato futebol clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Corinthians's Víktor Sarmento got a free kick in the 44th minute. Túlio Fernandes had several of the Corinthians's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Cássio Soeiro as he didn't even see the shot coming. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Víktor Sarmento made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Víktor Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corinthians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víktor Sarmento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Fenato futebol clube's goalkeeper Vítor Matorin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Víktor Sarmento. Tomás Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cássio Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Fernandes in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fenato futebol clube's Lúcio Almeida got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 72 minutes, Víktor Sarmento made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Fenato futebol clube's Vítor Matorin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Almir Furlan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vítor Matorin came out and tried to block the shot, but Almir Furlan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 79th minute. Corinthians's Cássio Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carlos Romero in the 82nd minute of play. Cássio Soeiro came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenato futebol clube's Túlio Fernandes. But to his dismay, Túlio Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Túlio Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Moisés Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Corinthians eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
