Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Víktor Sarmento kicked off to start the match. Seterma Tractors's Manoel Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tião de Senna in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio Soeiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Renan de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cássio Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seterma Tractors. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateus Trancoso during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Seterma Tractors getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Felipe Barros hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Silva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cássio Soeiro. Edvaldo Silva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Cássio Soeiro was a little too slow when Edvaldo Silva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvaldo Silva to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Motta to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Edvaldo Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cássio Soeiro was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Almir Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio de Toledo having to interfere. Luís Paraibano took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio Soeiro. Cássio Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 69 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Barros. Corinthians's Cássio Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paraibano in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Almir Furlan made a precise shot to the right of Túlio de Toledo. Seterma Tractors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 81st minute Luís Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Edvaldo Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Acácio Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corinthians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seterma Tractors the free kick. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Seterma Tractors had won after a very even match.
