Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Paulão Veiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Geraldo Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zebus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Carrossel Caipira's Olívio Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Gomes in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jerônimo de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zebus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerônimo de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olívio Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Edu Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Zebus FC's zone, Renato de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséias Vides came out of the goal and Renato de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Carrossel Caipira got a freekick which was hit by Renato Abreu. 34 minutes into the game, Zebus FC's Geraldo Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olívio Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 38th match minute, Carrossel Caipira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Zebus FC's Luisinho Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Giuseppe Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olívio Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geraldo Gomes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Zebus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Esteves to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Carrossel Caipira booed when Zebus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Arnaldo Abreu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zebus FC's Oséias Vides didn't even have to move. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Luan Teles put in a rough tackle. In the 58th minute, one of Zebus FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zebus FC. Zebus FC:s Oséias Vides showed great skill when he stopped Arnaldo Abreu:s penalty. Arnaldo Abreu did an outstanding performance 61 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-6 to the right of an irritated Oséias Vides in the goal. Geraldo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Sanches having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carrossel Caipira's Renato Abreu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Olívio Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Renato Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jerônimo de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes Carrossel Caipira got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Brodel. 91 minutes into the match, Zebus FC's Geraldo Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olívio Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olívio Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
