The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when Nautilus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Romando Futebol Clube's Alexandre Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Adriano Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil de Medeiros having to make a save. Marcelinho de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Alexandre Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Alexandre Luz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Nautilus's Gil de Medeiros. Gil de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute Eugênio Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eugênio Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Luz made a kick off. Alexandre Luz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil de Medeiros. Gil de Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Gil de Medeiros didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Gil de Medeiros came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Romando Futebol Clube's Alexandre Luz. But to his dismay, Alexandre Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Alexandre Luz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Adriano Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil de Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Eugênio Paranaense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gil de Medeiros came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugênio Paranaense slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nautilus's zone, Adriano Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil de Medeiros came out of the goal and Adriano Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dudu Neiva hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Adriano Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dráusio Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adriano Luz fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romando Futebol Clube's protests and gave Adriano Luz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nautilus booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romando Futebol Clube's Ademar Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Ferreira in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Nautilus getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dudu Neiva hit a great ball. When the match was over Romando Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nautilus throughout the match.
