Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) S.C. Ferrari's Willian Paes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Willian Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernani Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Mangueira in the 6th minute of the match. S.C. Ferrari were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Sipo EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Váldson do Vale took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Váldson do Vale got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernani Cerezo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Willian Paes took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernani Cerezo. Ernani Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 12 minutes, Jarbas Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sipo EC and the S.C. Ferrari players grew even worse after the yellow card. 13 minutes into the game, S.C. Ferrari's Willian Paes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernani Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 17th minute, Kléberson Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Valdir Dracena in the 18th minute really tested João Carlos Oliveira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, S.C. Ferrari's Kléberson Sabóia got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Sipo EC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Lúcio Fonseca hit a great ball. Ernani Cerezo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Mangueira's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Dracena. In the 30th minute, Aloísio Mangueira made a precise shot to the right of Ernani Cerezo. Sipo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Paes in the 32nd minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Ernani Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's Elano Galvão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernani Cerezo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Willian Paes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ernani Cerezo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernani Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Paes in the 40th minute of play. Hermínio Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Pernambucano made a kick off. Alfredinho Maia hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ernani Cerezo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 52nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Váldson do Vale. Sipo EC's Ernani Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Galvão in the 53rd minute of play. Ernani Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Willian Paes notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Sipo EC's Ernani Cerezo. Ernani Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's José Augusto Prata got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With an all-out effort, S.C. Ferrari's Ernani Cerezo threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Willian Paes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, S.C. Ferrari's Elano Galvão got a free kick in the 65th minute. João Carlos Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Cardoso in the 67th minute of the match. Váldson do Vale came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernani Cerezo could save by the left post. Willian Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ernani Cerezo made a huge save. A collision led to S.C. Ferrari getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aloísio Mangueira hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Valdir Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.C. Ferrari's João Carlos Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Cardoso in the 81st minute of play. Ernani Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Váldson do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ernani Cerezo made a huge save. Willian Paes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernani Cerezo came out and tried to block the shot, but Willian Paes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 91st minute. When the final whistle sounded S.C. Ferrari left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sipo EC.
