Elivélton Cunha scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovânio Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Elivélton Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Geovânio Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mundial EC's goalkeeper Geovânio Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fellipe Moreira got free with Dadá Massa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tião Favoretto hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Quiroga F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Quiroga F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Figueiredo. A collision led to Quiroga F.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Diogo Marquez hit a great ball. In the 39th match minute, Quiroga F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Terra to maneuver through the defense. Tony Marques hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Gustavo Monteiro in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dadá Massa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 46thth minute of the game Amauri Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mundial EC's Geovânio Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geovânio Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amauri Veiga's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With a little luck, Mundial EC's Geovânio Santana got control of the ball when Amauri Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Quiroga F.C. defense, Gustavo Monteiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Massa. The Quiroga F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Massa should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Lauro Trigo got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Luís Fabiano Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Quiroga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Falcão came free, but Dadá Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amauri Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Quiroga F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri Veiga couldn't finish the play. Edinho Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Gustavo Monteiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Quiroga F.C.'s Dadá Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Moreira in the 83rd minute of play. Geovânio Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Cunha in the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quiroga F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mundial EC.
