The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Quiroga F.C. booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Quiroga F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Raúl Guedes took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for João Pedro dos Santos to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Amauri Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Pedro dos Santos was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Ana Da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quiroga F.C. were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Wambalamba FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elivélton Cunha took the corner. The corner ended in Elivélton Cunha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wambalamba FC's João Pedro dos Santos did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elivélton Cunha in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Pedro dos Santos saved Wambalamba FC from getting behind. Wambalamba FC's João Pedro dos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. Amauri Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Quiroga F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pate Siqueira. If Amauri Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Quiroga F.C.'s Amauri Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Quiroga F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ana Da Costa hit a great ball. Dadá Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murilo Soares went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Raphael de Queiroz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Tiago Gabriel Fernandez had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Ana Da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quiroga F.C.'s protests and gave Ana Da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Quiroga F.C.'s Ana Da Costa got a free kick in the 86th minute. João Pedro dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amauri Veiga's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amauri Veiga in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Pedro dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute, Raúl Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Elivélton Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wambalamba FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
