Severino Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AF CERRADO's Severino Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Costa in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the AF CERRADO defense, Adelino Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Alcântara. The AF CERRADO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Alcântara should have stopped the shot. Adelino Costa scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Melo came free, but Rodriguinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Natã Rosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severino Alcântara was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Adelino Costa made a precise shot to the right of Severino Alcântara. AF CERRADO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Severino Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmílson Vidal's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Natã Rosa struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Severino Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merusca F&P - CIMZ. 38 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Costa came free, but Severino Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmílson Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Severino Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Costa in the 43rd minute of play. Severino Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Costa went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Merusca F&P - CIMZ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Willian de Salles replaced Cícero Diniz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adelino Costa was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Adelino Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nico Neves in the 56th minute. The corner led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Dieguinho Rossi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Severino Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Adelino Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in AF CERRADO's zone, Dieguinho Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Alcântara came out of the goal and Dieguinho Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Dieguinho Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. Dieguinho Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Vinícius Pontes scored 0-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
