Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Jumentus Rock Club's José Carlos Zonta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Jumentus Rock Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Mazurkiewicz came free, but Arí Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 6 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Fonseca. Arí Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Leopoldo Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Gianluigi Donnarumma got control of the ball when Lenílson Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopoldo Sanches succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Leopoldo Sanches put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Arí Netto. Arí Netto came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Arí Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Fonseca in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Ladislao Mazurkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Prata. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Sanches made a kick off. After 50 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Negri. João Carlos Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Marcelo Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válter Lopez hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Sanches in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Netto saved Jumentus Rock Club from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Leopoldo Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jumentus Rock Club's Arí Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Jumentus Rock Club from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arí Netto. That made the score 0-5 after 77 minutes of play. Leopoldo Sanches in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arí Netto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arí Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Sanches in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Massa in the 83rd minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Jumentus Rock Club got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Massa. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
