Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

It was Claudinho Fantini who took care of the corner kick. Villa Verde FC's Claudinho Fantini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvinho de Brito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Villa Verde FC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Notts County BR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudinho Fantini took the corner. After a rather tough play, Villa Verde FC's Joel Ramos got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Cássio Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
