Hélio Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mandaguari Goiano in the 22nd minute of the match. Hélio Sarmento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Furtado went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Febre Amarela booed when Jataiense Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 69th minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube's De-Jesús Goiano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hélio Sarmento. Hélio Sarmento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Novaes in the 74th minute of play forced Febre Amarela's goalkeeper Hélio Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Novaes in the 76th minute. Mandaguari Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Hélio Sarmento made a huge save. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Glauco Correia was substituted for Dino Favoretto. Febre Amarela's Hélio Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Febre Amarela from getting a goal against them. Febre Amarela's Hélio Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mandaguari Goiano in the 95th minute of play. Jataiense Futebol Clube played a much better game than Febre Amarela and deserved their victory. The Febre Amarela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
