Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Meirelles in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Meirelles in the 5th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cacá Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xiboquinha FC's Gil Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Nóbrega in the 6th minute of play. Tião Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gil Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deivid Moreira in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gil Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Lima was a little too slow when Edgard Cearense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 33 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Ramalho. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ademar Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xiboquinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademar Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cacá Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Perivaldo Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's protests and gave Perivaldo Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Figueiredo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yuri Velloso to strike the kick off in the second half. Nilton Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Cearense scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Nogueira came free, but Cacá Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Ademar Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duda Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cacá Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elder Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xiboquinha FC's protests and gave Elder Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Xiboquinha FC! When Nilton Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilton Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. Xiboquinha FC's Elder Paranaense got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Elder Paranaense off the ground. Elder Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Bittencourt came free, but Gil Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Cacá Sousa made a huge save.
