If Renan Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 minutes Capivara FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Renan Quirino who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Luciano Pereira got a free kick in the 9th minute. Lúcio Domingues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renan Quirino went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Capivara FC's zone, Juarês Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Domingues came out of the goal and Juarês Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Edvaldo Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juarês Bastos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The corner ended in Renan Quirino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capivara FC's Lúcio Domingues did a great save. When Juarês Bastos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 21 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lúcio Domingues was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Juarês Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lupere FC - DMZ's protests and gave Juarês Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Juarês Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Luciano Pereira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lupere FC - DMZ's Walmir Leme. Walmir Leme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renan Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pereira came free, but Walmir Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Pereira during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juarês Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Renan Quirino hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Capivara FC's zone, Renan Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Domingues came out of the goal and Renan Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glauco Aparecido to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Renan Quirino sped through Capivara FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lúcio Domingues. After 56 minutes, Fabiano Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivara FC and the Lupere FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Negri. In the 57th minute Renan Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Luciano Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmir Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Quirino in the 64th minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Serginho de Andrade got a free kick in the 67th minute. Walmir Leme was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dieguinho Pinho. Juarês Bastos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Luciano Pereira scored 2-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmir Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's Renan Quirino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Domingues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lúcio Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Quirino in the 91st minute of the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Renan Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Celso Maranhense got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over Capivara FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lupere FC - DMZ throughout the match.
