Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Leonel Donatello got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Ronaldinho Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Jorginho Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Vivaldo Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Trevisan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Mendes in the 24th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper José Pedro Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Vivaldo Munhoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goblins F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. José Augusto Travassos's late challenge caught a Goblins F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Augusto Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Travassos. Kaká Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. José Pedro Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Vivaldo Munhoz sped through Morro Grande E.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Pedro Abraão. José Pedro Abraão came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Goblins F.C.'s Zé Pedro Mendes. But to his dismay, Zé Pedro Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Kaká Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Pedro Abraão. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Pedro Abraão should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Ronaldinho Meira made the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Meira in the 52nd minute of play. Gilvan Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilvan Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilvan Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. José Augusto Travassos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper José Pedro Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Pedro Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zeca Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goblins F.C.'s protests and gave Zeca Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Zeca Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Augusto Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pedro Paulo Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Munhoz in the 83rd minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper José Pedro Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Paulo Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Goblins F.C. played a much better game than Morro Grande E.C and deserved their victory. The Morro Grande E.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
