An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Munhoz in the 78th minute of play forced Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalkeeper Matías Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Amadeu Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s protests and gave Amadeu Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. Agostinho Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matías Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After having played for 94 minutes, Zé Pedro Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goblins F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Goblins F.C.'s Matías Vieira threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vivaldo Munhoz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
