Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Narusēvičs kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Narusēvičs came free, but Nilmar de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilmar de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Narusēvičs went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Ademir Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilmar de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nilmar de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Márcio Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Benedito Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ricardo Narusēvičs fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo do Japi's protests and gave Ricardo Narusēvičs a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Narusēvičs. Márcio Garcia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Benedito Nóbrega skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 23 minutes Galo do Japi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomé Catarinense who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Galo do Japi's goalie and right to Eriberto Melo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Galo do Japi's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Nilmar de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Narusēvičs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedito Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Garcia in the 31st minute of the match. Galo do Japi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Márcio Garcia scored to the left of an out of position Benedito Nóbrega, making the score, 1-2. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Kauã Damião hit a great ball. Ricardo Narusēvičs hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Benedito Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Garcia in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Márcio Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Garcia came free, but Benedito Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedito Nóbrega dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Galo do Japi's Benedito Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Catarinense in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Márcio Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedito Nóbrega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Dedé Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Nóbrega having to interfere. Benedito Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Galo do Japi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Shark FC - FSCMZ.
