Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Albertinho Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Narusēvičs in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Benedito Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Vale in the 6th minute of the match. Benedito Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes Talento Futebol clube got a freekick which was hit by Rui Sergipano. Dudu Alagoano hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Allan Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedito Nóbrega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renan Vale's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The Talento Futebol clube fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Talento Futebol clube's Allan Mello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute, Galo do Japi's Luciano do Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albertinho Tasso. Albertinho Tasso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Allan Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Renan Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Benedito Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedito Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Narusēvičs to strike the kick off in the second half. Talento Futebol clube's Albertinho Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Duarte in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute José Vítor Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eriberto Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Galo do Japi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Duarte couldn't finish the play. In the 65thth minute of the game Renan Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galo do Japi's Benedito Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Denílson Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 72 minutes, Renan Vale made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Galo do Japi's Benedito Nóbrega tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Galo do Japi's zone, Allan Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedito Nóbrega came out of the goal and Allan Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Koehler to maneuver through the defense. José Vítor Rossi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Benedito Nóbrega when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Galo do Japi's Benedito Nóbrega got control of the ball when Renan Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enéas Vides hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Dudu Alagoano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albertinho Tasso. Talento Futebol clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Talento Futebol clube played a much better game than Galo do Japi and deserved their victory. The Galo do Japi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
