The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Vidal during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Galo do Japi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galo do Japi's Kléber Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Meirelles in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Estrela Solitária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Leal to maneuver through the defense. Estrela Solitária's Mário Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Toscano in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Rafa Godoi notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Estrela Solitária's Mário Quirino. Mário Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Despite being the better team, Estrela Solitária failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
