When Gerson Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mestre GG's protests and gave Gerson Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. Guga Fontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Pombal in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Dé Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Christian Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Válter Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benê Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Guga Fontes made a huge save. Dênis da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Raúl de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nildo Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Toscano in the 43rd minute of play. Wilian Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Fontes having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Dé Paiva made the kick off in the second half. Gilson Gomes's late challenge caught a Mestre GG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilson Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tigre das Américas getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gilson Gomes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis da Rocha in the 58th minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Raúl de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Dênis da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raúl de Amaral. Mestre GG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Raúl de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Camargo in the 91st minute of the match. Raúl de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benê Vieira in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Wilian Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Tigre das Américas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mestre GG throughout the match.
