Santo Everton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Garrincha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Prestes in the 13th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Prestes came free, but Alfredo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson de Amaral in the 20th minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Alfredo Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Zuera Never End MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Meira to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Zuera Never End MZC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Edinho Dracena hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Zuera Never End MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sten came free, but Santo Everton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jailson de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Alfredo Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

With his leg Santo Everton managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Villaverde Celeste Clube's Mané Garrincha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Oscar Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Linares having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, Zuera Never End MZC's Jailson de Amaral made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Oscar Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Nicolas Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sten's late challenge caught a Zuera Never End MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Sten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sten to maneuver through the defense.
