Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) GLADIADORES's Eurico Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Sergipano in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Callegari's goalkeeper Cícero Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agnaldo Dias. In the 11th match minute, Callegari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Paulista to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Oswaldo Breckenfeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eurico Arantes was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. With 15 minutes on the clock, Jefferson Freire commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of GLADIADORES:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Callegari:s goal. Eurico Arantes had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Wesley Faria's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Callegari's Oswaldo Breckenfeld made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eurico Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavinho Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Eurico Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Breckenfeld. Eurico Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto de Godoi in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when Callegari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gustavo Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Callegari's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Couto came free, but Eurico Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto de Godoi in the 44th minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Eurico Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oswaldo Breckenfeld made a kick off. After 64 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Meira. Eurico Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The GLADIADORES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico Arantes should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Oswaldo Breckenfeld ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Eurico Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto de Godoi in the 90th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdir Sergipano during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, GLADIADORES's Valdir Sergipano got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Eurico Arantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oswaldo Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Eurico Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Callegari's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
