Pedro Luiz Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Breckenfeld in the 89th minute of the match. During the 89th minute of the match João Carlos Simão completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave João Carlos Simão a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 90 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Simão. 91 minutes into the game, Jacinto Munhoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
