Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oswaldo Breckenfeld started the match with the kick off. Sandro Seco's late challenge caught a Callegari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Seco helped the player get up and apologised. Sandro Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ronaldo Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cícero Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Vander in the 16th minute of play forced Callegari's goalkeeper Cícero Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Cearense came free, but Abelardo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vila Zumbi's Abelardo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Sergipano in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Oswaldo Breckenfeld made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vila Zumbi's Abelardo Barreto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Vila Zumbi defense, Oswaldo Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Barreto. The Vila Zumbi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Barreto should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Oswaldo Breckenfeld left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Callegari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 30 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by Dino Gomes. 32 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Breckenfeld came free, but Abelardo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes Vila Zumbi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alessandro Cearense who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Ediberto Quintal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Vila Zumbi's Abelardo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Cearense in the 40th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Callegari's goalkeeper Cícero Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fumo Pedrais.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fumo Pedrais to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Callegari defense, Fumo Pedrais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cícero Branco. The Callegari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cícero Branco should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Cearense in the 55th minute of play forced Vila Zumbi's goalkeeper Abelardo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Fumo Pedrais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Queirós scored 2-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cícero Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 played minutes Vila Zumbi got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Meirelles. Oswaldo Breckenfeld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Barreto having to make a save. Callegari's Cícero Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fumo Pedrais in the 82nd minute of play. Cícero Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Meirelles in the 89th minute of play. Ronaldo Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
