Gildo Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ángel Romero went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Matheus Donelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, MAZER SAF's Matheus Donelli got control of the ball when José Paulo Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Paulo Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cafu Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Fábio Umrihin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo Simões was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Almir Alcântara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Almir Alcântara really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 81st minute José Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Donelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Almir Alcântara. MAZER SAF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
