Gil dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeu do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeu do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arí Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil dos Santos in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil dos Santos in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Sarmento saved Pragmáticos 1903 from getting behind. Charles Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Mineiro in the 25th minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Charles Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Matos to maneuver through the defense. Hélio Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Afonsinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arí Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Vianna in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Adalberto Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Vianna. After 42 minutes, Caio Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pragmáticos 1903 and the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Afonsinho Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Adalberto Vianna hit a great ball. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With an all-out effort, Pragmáticos 1903's Charles Sarmento threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hélio Soeiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pragmáticos 1903's Douglas Gustavo was substituted for Afonsinho Amorim. Pragmáticos 1903's Gustavo Abud was substituted for Rômulo Aguiar. Pragmáticos 1903's Arí Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil dos Santos in the 90th minute of play. Pragmáticos 1903's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rondinone F.C - FDFDF had won, even though Pragmáticos 1903 had held more of the ball.
