With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Marquez in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo José Rodrigues saved Queluzito from getting behind. MUSHIBA FC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Queluzito's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Luiz Abreu took the corner. The corner led MUSHIBA FC's Benê da Costa to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulo José Rodrigues despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 7th minute, Raimundo Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Queluzito's Ian Nunes got a free kick in the 8th minute. Pedro Luiz Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when Queluzito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Pedro Luiz Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo José Rodrigues skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, MUSHIBA FC's Chiquinho do Nascimento got control of the ball when Percy Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Pedro Luiz Abreu got a free kick in the 21st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nando Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chiquinho do Nascimento. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nando Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. One of MUSHIBA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Queluzito:s goal. After 62 minutes, Kauã do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The audience was convinced that Nando Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chiquinho do Nascimento was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the MUSHIBA FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Queluzito.
