Reynaldo Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Cordero scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Franco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reynaldo Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Frascuelo in the 8th minute of the match. Arnoldo Frascuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Frascuelo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Franco. Reynaldo Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Geleberto in the 16th minute of play forced Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Reynaldo Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Bento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Reynaldo Franco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Pacifico's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silvio Fiz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 30th minute, Arnoldo Frascuelo made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Franco. Atlético Matorrales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Atlético Matorrales's Reynaldo Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Aureo in the 33rd minute of play. Reynaldo Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Jeronimo Cordero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Franco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 42 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Bento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Franco. Atlético Matorrales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomiro Bento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Jeronimo Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

57 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Cordero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reynaldo Franco. Jeronimo Cordero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 65th minute, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Arnoldo Frascuelo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. A hard shot 72 in the game by Jeronimo Cordero from a close distance when the talented Reynaldo Franco managed to make a qualified save. Atlético Matorrales's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as ★Independiente Ψ★'s Dionisio Aureo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynaldo Franco. That made the score 0-12 after 74 minutes of play. Reynaldo Franco made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Dionisio Aureo sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Fabio Pacifico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as ★Independiente Ψ★'s Jeronimo Cordero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynaldo Franco. That made the score 0-13 after 80 minutes of play. 83 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Reynaldo Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Cordero. Reynaldo Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Frascuelo in the 86th minute of the match. Reynaldo Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Frascuelo in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Jeronimo Cordero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reynaldo Franco. The goal made the score 0-14. With a little luck, Atlético Matorrales's Reynaldo Franco got control of the ball when Jeronimo Cordero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute Arnoldo Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ★Independiente Ψ★ played a much better game than Atlético Matorrales and deserved their victory. The Atlético Matorrales players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
