Marciano Txartikos short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Tomás Alfonso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquilino Argoitz during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomás Alfonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximo Furtado came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomás Alfonso could save by the left post. After 18 minutes, Primitivo Dominic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 17 de enero team and the Lagrima en Jarrita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomás Alfonso was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Marciano Txartiko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Alfonso was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Marciano Txartiko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marciano Txartiko really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. During the 44th minute of the match Aquilino Argoitz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aquilino Argoitz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of 17 de enero team booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Argoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, 17 de enero team's Luisito Bermudo got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Garcilaso Garcha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gavino Bazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Benat in the 54th minute of play. Maximo Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcilaso Garcha in the 61st minute of play forced 17 de enero team's goalkeeper Tomás Alfonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Marciano Txartiko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Alfonso. 17 de enero team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marciano Txartiko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The 17 de enero team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Alfonso should have stopped the shot.
