The referee ignored Encarale a la gordita's protests and gave Jaime Paskal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olivos Futbol Club booed when Encarale a la gordita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Paskal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Luisito Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Weather saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Celso Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Weather made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Quintun in the 18th minute of play. Narciso Argoitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Tadeo Asur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Encarale a la gordita getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Celso Ofelio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Raymond in the 30th minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Eulalio Weather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Dodorol got free with Tadeo Asur in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Sergio Lekubegi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tadeo Asur, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Argoitz got free with Tadeo Asur in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Chan in the 41st minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Eulalio Weather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Weather came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Olivos Futbol Club's Silvestre Chan. But to his dismay, Silvestre Chan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Eulalio Weather made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Quintun in the 45th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Celso Ofelio put in a rough tackle. In the 46th minute, Celso Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeo Raymond to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Saturnino Padro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Quintun got free with Eulalio Weather in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Jacobo Dodorol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Eulalio Weather had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Chan. Eulalio Weather showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 90 minutes, Fulgencio Remigio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivos Futbol Club and the Encarale a la gordita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fulgencio Remigio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Raymond in the 95th minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Eulalio Weather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivos Futbol Club were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
