Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Teobaldo Aurre started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Stronghold S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Chinto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Grosso United getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cecilio Bernad hit a great ball. Everardo Vela came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Saturnino Romo could save by the left post. Natalio Peyo took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartolo Chepe. Bartolo Chepe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 21 minutes, Baldomiro Mikelar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stronghold S.A and the Grosso United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Stronghold S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Mikelar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Boniel in the 22nd minute of play forced Stronghold S.A's goalkeeper Bartolo Chepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stronghold S.A's Everardo Vela got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stronghold S.A's Teobaldo Aurre got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Teobaldo Aurre came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Stronghold S.A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Aurre couldn't finish the play. Natalio Peyo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Bartolo Chepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grosso United. Bartolo Chepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bartolo Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Manny in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Fabio Erdiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Carolo Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Chepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Stronghold S.A's Bartolo Chepe got control of the ball when Natalio Peyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Manny got free with Bartolo Chepe in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Godofredo Manny reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bartolo Chepe. The goal made the score 1-2. Virgilio Quin charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Quin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stronghold S.A's Bartolo Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Manny in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Stronghold S.A booed when Grosso United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Aurre came free, but Saturnino Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Elorri hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Everardo Vela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stronghold S.A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Aurre in the 88th minute of play. If Adrian Curcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Stronghold S.A got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Elorri. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
